Outdoor track and boys and girls soccer will begin practice on March 21st.
Be sure to have your physicals completed
before the first day of practice.
Proof of Insurance is required and must be turned in prior to traveling or competing. Please make a photo copy of the card or take a picture and turn in to the Activities Office or email to ahartman@crb1.net.

All athletes must have a physical to practice.
RMS students may participate in these activities:
- 6th grade: Cross Country, Swimming, Wrestling, and Track
- 7th grade: Cross Country, Football, Volleyball, Swimming, Basketball, Wrestling, Track, Soccer
- 8th grade: Cross Country, Football, Volleyball, Swimming, Basketball, Wrestling, Track, Soccer
Eligibility

Students at Rawlins Middle School will conduct themselves in a manner adhering to the following procedures in order to compete and participate in school activities/athletics.

Students must be present in ALL classes on the day of the event. The only exception to this procedure is that the student has a written doctor’s note excusing them for the time missed from school.

Students must be present in seven (7) out of eight (8) classes in order to practice.

Students with two (2) or more office referrals prior to the event will not be allowed to participate in the event.

If the event occurs on a Tuesday night and the student received two (2) office referrals on Monday and Tuesday, they will not be allowed to participate on Tuesday night. The opportunity for participation begins anew on Wednesday of the same week.

Students that are tardy five (5) or more times to class prior to the event will not be allowed to participate. If the event offers on Thursday night and the student received five (5) or more tardies Monday through Thursday, they will not be allowed to participate on Thursday night. The opportunity for participation begins anew on Friday of the same week.
Clubs
Students are not required to have a sports physical to participate in clubs. They may be subject to academic eligibility requirements to participate in some club activities.
Student Council
This club is a representative structure for students through which they can become involved in the affairs of the school. Student council members work with school administrations, staff, parents, and community members to benefit the school and community. Students do not have to be elected to participate in student council.
Super Spellers
This club provides students with and opportunity to hone their spelling skills and to compete. The Super Spellers meet every other Monday through February after school.
Jazz Band
In this club interested 7th and 8th grade students are introduced to jazz techniques. The jazz band rehearses before school.
