In honor of National School Bus Safety Week-To all of our CCSD #1 Transportation Staff: Thank you for your hard work and commitment. You ensure our students arrive at school and return home safely, and we appreciate your efforts more than you know. You take them to and from activities and athletic events all around the state (and other states) and sometimes, you drive in not so nice Wyoming winter weather. But we know our students are safe with you, and we appreciate all you do!

Our phone lines at Rawlins Elementary School and Rawlins High School are currently down. Our technology department is hard at work to get them back up and functioning. Thank you for your understanding and patience while we work on this issue.

Yesterday, we welcomed back LSRV staff and today, we welcome back our Rawlins staff for the 2025-2026 school year. Carbon #1 is very fortunate to have so many teachers, counselors, secretaries, nurses, para professionals, administrators, SRO's, transportation staff, food service staff, maintenance/custodial staff, athletic staff and coaches, and technology staff in our district. Here's wishing you the best year yet! Thank you for all you do!
Also, a big THANK YOU to all of our maintenance/custodial, food service, aquatic, transportation, summer school, technology, and central office staff who worked though the summer to ensure we have the best start to the school year! Your hard work shows and we appreciate you!

MHCC will be at RHS for students to get their school physicals July 29th and 31st. The maximum number of students is 50 per night.
A copy of insurance card and $7.00 catastrophic insurance fee is required for any student that is in a sport or will travel with their activity or club. Copies can be made of insurance cards and fees can be collected when you get your physical.

Our CCSD #1 Transportation Department ensures our students get to and from school, and activities/athletic events in and out of town safely. They are the reason all of our staff also are able to travel safely related to school trainings and conferences out of town. We are very thankful for all of our bus drivers, mechanics, and dispatchers for the hard work and long hours they put in to ensure the safe and efficient transportation needs of all of our students and staff are met to the highest of standards.
